Render Elements Bug list

Please use this thread to report bugs with Render Elements. I will comment and add to the thread as I find or solve them.

Ones I know about currently:

Bugs in version 0.6.96:

– Some issues with Sketch and Toon tags not being recorded correctly.
– Render Elements causing C4D to crash on quit sometimes. (Still investigating. Hopefully will be fixed in version 0.7 release.)
– Using Solo layer mode can cause problems with recording and setting back of scenes. This is a confirmed bug within Cinema. For now, do not use Solo mode on layers when using Render Elements.
– “Delete All Elements” causes crash. Until this is fixed, user must delete each element separately.

Bugs in version 0.6.94:

– Render Elements causing C4D to crash on quit sometimes. (Still investigating. Hopefully will be fixed in version 0.7 release.)
– Using Solo layer mode can cause problems with recording and setting back of scenes. This is a confirmed bug within Cinema. For now, do not use Solo mode on layers when using Render Elements.
-Render settings in Vray – maps in the environment channels – were not being recorded correctly. Fixed in 0.6.96.

Bugs in version 0.6.92:

– In file generation, dialog window says Open, not Choose (Waiting on answer from Maxon. Code appears to be correct and was working in earlier versions).
– A warning should pop up when generation is used, but no elements have been selected (This has been fixed in version 0.6.94).
– When switching between render settings, post effects and multipass layers do not remember their settings. (This has been fixed in version 0.6.94).
