I am re-writing these in python, and there are a couple small improvements I have made. Just about done. Trying to get some other important work out of the way before I finish them and release.
Are those Python versions ready?

Batch Rename Tags doesn’t seem to work in R14, but Batch Rename Objects seems fine.
Hey Adam, these are awesome. Noticed that the batch rename object plugin doesn’t update the name until you click in the viewport (in R15). Not a big deal, thought i’d mention it though. Thanks for making these, very helpful
Thanks, Rich. I think I re-wrote these in Python some time ago. Need to dig through my old computer when I get a chance. Might be fixed in that re-write.
